SMS Consent & Opt-In Disclosure

Last updated: July 8, 2026 · CirCompass is operated by France Tech Services LLC.

Program overview

CirCompass sends transactional 1:1 SMS on behalf of field service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and similar trades) to the end customers of those businesses. Messages relate to a specific service request the customer initiated: appointment confirmations, technician on-the-way / arrival alerts, quote-ready notifications, deposit and invoice payment links, receipt confirmations, and two-way support replies. No marketing, promotional, or bulk messages are sent through this program.

How end users opt in

End users provide express written consent through one of three clearly labeled opt-in paths. Consent is never purchased, rented, shared, or obtained from a third party.

Path 1 — Public web quote / contact form

On the public quote or contact request form at https://mycircompass.com/contact (and the same form embedded on customer-facing company websites hosted on CirCompass), the end user enters their mobile number and must check an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox directly next to the phone field before the form can be submitted. The checkbox displays this exact disclosure:

"By checking this box and providing my mobile number, I agree to receive SMS text messages from {company} related to my service request, including appointment confirmations, technician arrival alerts, quote and invoice notifications, and support replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See Privacy Policy https://cloud.mycircompass.com/privacy and Terms https://cloud.mycircompass.com/terms."

Path 2 — Customer portal quote acceptance

When an existing customer opens a quote link the business sent them and clicks Accept Quote in the CirCompass customer portal at https://cloud.mycircompass.com, the same disclosure above is displayed directly above the Accept button. The customer must affirmatively click Accept to opt in.

Path 3 — Customer-initiated text

If an end user texts a business's CirCompass number first, that inbound message is treated as express consent for the business to send a direct 1:1 reply, per CTIA guidelines.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Opt-outs are honored immediately and confirmed with a final message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with the jobs and quotes tied to the customer's account.
