CirCompass is operated by France Tech Services LLC ("CirCompass", "we", "us"). For personal data we collect about you in connection with your use of the Service, we act as the data controller.
Payment information (card number, billing address, tax IDs) is collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and is not stored by us.
We do not sell your personal data.
When you or your customers provide a mobile phone number to CirCompass — for example through a quote request form on a company website, by accepting a quote in the customer portal, or by texting one of our business numbers directly — we collect that number and related messaging metadata (message content, timestamps, delivery status, opt-in and opt-out events) to send service-related SMS such as appointment confirmations, technician-arrival alerts, quote-ready notices, deposit and invoice requests, and two-way customer support replies.
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all marketing, promotional, lead-generation, and affiliate-sharing activities. Mobile numbers and message content are shared only with the subprocessors strictly required to deliver the messages you request — our telecom carrier (Twilio, Inc.), mobile network operators, and the aggregators they use to reach your carrier. These providers process the data solely to transmit the messages and are contractually restricted from using it for their own marketing.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with the jobs and quotes tied to your account. Full opt-in flow is described at /sms-consent.
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions, and audit logging.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Our services are operated from the United States and personal data may be processed in the U.S. and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the Service.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email.
